Smallberry Green is a happy, caring school with a strongly positive ethos and a genuinely friendly nature. We take real pride in the sense of community here, where every member of staff gets to know each child as an individual, encouraging them always to ‘be the best that they can be’. This shows in our children’s impeccable behaviour, built on being ‘ready, respectful and safe’  not only within the school building, but throughout the many extra-curricular experiences they take part in.

At Smallberry Green, we want every day to be an adventure. We believe exciting learning should happen everywhere, and we take real delight in creating memorable experiences for our children, both in and beyond the classroom.

Inside and out, our building is bright, spacious and full of life,  supporting a rich, well-balanced curriculum that inspires and engages. Our classrooms, corridors and communal areas have recently been refurbished to create warm, inviting spaces where children can flourish. Our outdoor area is a real asset: an adobe hut, a field, football pitches, a basketball area, sheltered spaces for performing, climbing frames, bars, covered learning areas, tunnels, a sand-pit and much more.

We encourage families to be closely involved in their children’s learning, and we’re proud of our open communication with parents. We treasure the diverse cultural community within our school and celebrate it regularly through a range of events. Our children are taught to value resilience, optimism, respect, curiosity, inclusiveness and confidence, and we support families further through a variety of extra-curricular clubs, an early Breakfast Club and an After-School Club. Our commitment is unwavering: to help every child become a confident, respectful and successful global citizen, now and in the future.
