School Meals at Smallberry Green

We have a full kitchen at Smallberry Green and all our meals are cooked freshly each day on the school site.

Our Catering Manager, Sasha Riordan, has designed the menus for this term alongside members of the School Council, who consulted their classmates.

All the delicious meals are nutritionally balanced and recipes are drawn from the many different cultures in our school. There is a choice of Main, Halal or Vegetarian meal daily, and fresh fruit and a salad bar is always available for the children to eat.

All our Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children have our school meals each lunchtime, and all children enjoy eating together with their friends.

School meals are free for all children from Reception through to Y6 through the government’s Universal Free School Meals, but will still need to be booked each week through the SchoolComms Gateway app.

Please advise the school office if your child has any allergies or dietary requirements so that we can ensure that all children are able to eat our delicious school dinners.

Menus for the term are available on SchoolComms Gateway, and should be booked on the system for the next week in advance.

All paid school meals need to be paid for via the SchoolComms Gateway app. Payment for meals should be put into your account in advance of your child taking the meal. We also use SchoolComms Gateway for trips and clubs as we are a cashless school.
