At Smallberry Green we feel that reading is a vitally important part of our children’s education. As well as teaching our children to read, we want to ensure that they leave Smallberry Green having gained a life-long love of reading. 

We have put together a ‘Recommended Reading List’ for children, which draws together books which are from a variety of genres, and are grouped to be appropriate to the age of a child. We hope that these will help parents and children to choose books to enjoy at home and at school.
